Vis Stim

Well, I have been at Arrowmont School of Arts and Crafts for five full weeks now. Although I am inspired by the art and craft objects that are being made here, I am particularly in awe of the everyday scenes of the studio and around Gatlinburg. I try to carry my camera with me, as you never know when inspiration strikes. Here are some images I have captured since my arrival.

  1. I loved going to Arrowmont. Of course it's been maybe 15 years since I've been there so I wonder how much it's changed. I still remember driving out of the mountains to this explosion of goony golf and wedding chapels in Pigeon Forge. The school itself was like a peaceful oasis once you got off the main drag in Gatlinburg.

  2. That sounds like an accurate description 15 years later. The mountains are calling you. Can't you hear them? Come baaaaaaaaaaack to Arrooooowmont!
